iPhone 11 pro Features
The iPhone 11 Pro really wants to be a new level of the smartphone, and based on what I’ve seen so far, it might well be. The iPhone 11 Pro is Apple’s first iPhone to feature a pro name previously reserved for larger Apple products (such as the iPad Pro). The model is the first iPhone to include an 18W fast charger in the box and a Lightning to USB-C cable.
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max replace the previous iPhone XS and XS Max on the iPhone lineup. And Apple hopes to justify the Pro name with a wealth of upgrades, including triple rear cameras that promise to beat the best camera phones, a faster A13 processor, a brighter display and (very important to me) a much longer battery life.
But the icing on the cake might be the increased stamina. Promising 4 to 5 hours of longer stamina on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max is a pretty big claim, respectively. And this is one that I look forward to testing.
From the front, the iPhone 11 Pro looks similar to the iPhone XS, but once you turn it around, this phone is not mistaken for its predecessor. There are not only three camera lenses, but there is also a new matte glass finish that is frankly a breath of fresh air compared to smudge magnets like the Galaxy Note 10. Three lenses, all 12-megapixel sensors, are now available in the iPhone 11 Pro models. The main wide-angle camera has an aperture of f/1.8; it is joined by an ultra-wide lens with an aperture of f/2.4 and a field of view of 120 degrees, plus a telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.0. That means that the telephoto lens lets shots with less noise in more than 40 percent lighter than before.
Using the redesigned camera interface, switching between lenses is easy, allowing you to zoom in or out depending on whether you want close-up or more of the environment in your photo. The best part of this interface is that when you use the ultra-wide lens, it gives you a preview of what your photo might look like.
The iPhone 11 lineup has also been added by Apple with a Night Mode feature. This model has a lot of potentials, at least on the basis of Apple’s own samples. It revealed much more detail when engaged in Night Mode. And you don’t need to activate a separate camera setting to turn on the night mode; it automatically comes on.
Overall, the 11 Pro iPhone looks like a smartphone beast. And I’m most excited about two things personally: improved cameras and longer battery life. Apple has an opportunity to close the gap on the camera front with the likes of Google, Huawei, and Samsung (or surpass them) while extending its performance lead with the Bionic A13 chip.
