Cybersecurity, Network & Backup for Singapore SMEs
Protect your data, keep your office network running and make sure you can recover when something goes wrong. Practical security for teams without an IT department.
WhatsApp 9011 1239Where to startMost attacks on small businesses are not sophisticated
Most attacks start with something simple: a phishing email, a reused password, an unpatched laptop or a backup nobody has tested. Closing these gaps stops most of the damage. We focus on the basics that matter first, then build from there.
What we set up and maintain
Accounts & access
Multi-factor authentication, admin rights kept to the people who need them, and accounts removed promptly when staff leave.
Device protection
Patching, encryption and endpoint protection on every laptop and desktop, checked as part of preventive maintenance.
Backup & storage
Backups that follow the 3-2-1 rule, office storage such as a NAS, and regular restore tests so you know recovery works.
Network & servers
Office Wi-Fi, firewalls, separated guest networks, secure remote access, servers and cloud setups designed, built and maintained.
Working towards CSA Cyber Essentials
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore’s Cyber Essentials mark sets out baseline security practices for organisations. Certification is assessed by CSA-appointed certification bodies. We can help you put the technical measures in place first, such as asset inventory, patching, access control, backups and malware protection. When you go for assessment, you’re ready. Organisations further along can look at the Cyber Trust mark.
Good security also supports your PDPA obligation to protect the personal data you hold.
Questions businesses ask
We’re a small company. Are we really a target?
Yes. Most attacks are automated and aim at whoever is easiest to get into, whatever their size. Small firms are often easier targets because they have fewer protections in place.
What should we fix first?
Turn on MFA for email and admin accounts. Patch every device. Check that your backups can actually be restored. Those three steps remove a large share of everyday risk.
What do we do if we think we’ve been hacked?
Disconnect affected devices from the network but don’t wipe them. Change passwords from a clean device, then contact us. If personal data may be involved, read about mandatory data breach notification. Strict deadlines can apply.
