STARLABS / MANAGED IT
Managed IT Services for Singapore SMEs
One monthly plan covers your helpdesk, remote and onsite support, preventive maintenance and system monitoring. You get the reach of an IT department without hiring one.

With managed IT, a provider looks after your systems on a fixed monthly fee. The other model is break-fix, where you call someone only after something fails. Managed support is proactive: we patch, monitor and maintain your systems so fewer things break. When something does go wrong, one point of contact owns the problem until it’s fixed.
What’s included
Outsourced helpdesk
Your staff contact one helpdesk for login issues, email, printers and software. Remote desktop help typically starts within 30 minutes.
Onsite advisory & support
A technician comes on site when a problem can’t be fixed remotely, such as hardware faults, network drops or a new staff setup.
Preventive maintenance
Scheduled patching, health checks and clean-ups catch failing drives, full disks and missed updates before they cause downtime.
Servers, network & backup
We set up and maintain servers, office networks, backup and storage, and report on their health.
Is managed IT right for your business?
- You have roughly 5 to 100 staff and no full-time IT person, or one person stretched too thin.
- Staff lose hours waiting for someone to fix laptops, email or Wi-Fi.
- You aren’t sure your backups work, or whether your devices are patched.
- You want a predictable monthly IT cost instead of surprise repair bills.
How we start
- Free consultation. We learn how your team works and what keeps breaking.
- IT health check. We list your devices, accounts, network, backups and risks.
- Tailored plan. You choose a maintenance plan sized to your team and budget, with clear response times.
- Onboarding. We document everything, fix urgent gaps first, then move to routine maintenance.
Questions businesses ask
Is outsourcing IT cheaper than hiring?
For most small teams, yes. A plan costs less than a full-time salary and gives you a team with broader skills, covering networks, servers, security and devices, plus cover when someone is on leave.
What’s the difference between response time and resolution time?
Response time is how quickly someone starts working on your issue. Resolution time is how long it takes to fix it. A good contract states both. See response vs resolution time.
Do you also supply laptops for new staff?
Yes. See IT procurement & device lifecycle. We source, set up and maintain the devices, then wipe and retire them at end of life.
