We’re an independent repair shop in Bugis. In Singapore, most Fujitsu laptops are LIFEBOOK business models from company fleets. These laptops are built for years of office use, so batteries, keyboards and screens are the usual repairs. A noisy fan or a hot base, usually from dust. We clean and replace fans, and can advise on memory or storage upgrades where the model allows it.

Fujitsu LIFEBOOK series we repair

Fujitsu PCs are now made by Fujitsu Client Computing, which is majority-owned by Lenovo. The LIFEBOOK name is the same, and so is the way we repair them.

LIFEBOOK U

Fujitsu’s light, premium business laptops for people who travel or move between offices. Thin, light designs mean screens and hinges need care, and batteries wear with daily use.

Common models: LIFEBOOK U7311, plus other LIFEBOOK U7 and U9 models.

LIFEBOOK E

Mainstream business laptops, often bought in bulk for office fleets. Battery and keyboard repairs are the common jobs after a few years.

Common models: LIFEBOOK E5 and older LIFEBOOK E-series models.

LIFEBOOK A

Budget business laptops. Simple to work on, and good candidates for a battery or storage upgrade to get a few more years from them.

Common models: LIFEBOOK A-series models.

LIFEBOOK T and STYLISTIC (older)

Fujitsu’s older 2-in-1 laptops and tablets. Touch screens, hinges and batteries are the usual problems. Parts for older models can be harder to find, so check with us first.

Company Fujitsu laptops

Most LIFEBOOK laptops we see are company machines. Before you hand one in, check these with your IT team:

  • BitLocker recovery key. Many company Windows laptops are encrypted. After a board or storage repair the laptop may ask for the key, so make sure IT can find it.
  • BIOS or supervisor password. If the laptop has one, we need IT to provide it or remove it. We don’t bypass these locks.
  • Warranty first. Business models are often bought with longer cover, such as a next-business-day onsite warranty. Check that before you pay for a repair.
  • Backups. Make sure work files are synced or backed up before the laptop leaves the office.

Still under manufacturer warranty?

Check with Fujitsu first. If a fault is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, that is usually the cheapest fix. Opening the laptop or using an independent repairer may affect your warranty, so ask before you book a repair with anyone. If your laptop is out of warranty, or the damage isn’t covered, we’re happy to help.

Can you repair my LIFEBOOK screen?

Usually, yes. Send us the model from the label under the laptop so we can check the right panel. Prices depend on the model and part. Send us the model on WhatsApp for a quote.

Will I lose my data?

Screen, battery, keyboard and fan repairs don’t normally touch your storage. Board and liquid damage repairs carry more risk. Back up before you bring it in if the laptop still works. A 3-2-1 backup is a good habit.

How do I find my Fujitsu model?

Look at the label under the laptop for the LIFEBOOK model, such as U7311. In Windows, you can also check Settings > System > About or the System Information app.
