ASUS series we repair

ASUS model codes, such as UX3405 or B1403, are printed on the label under the laptop. Sending us the code helps us find the right part.

ExpertBook

ASUS’s business range, from entry-level fleet laptops to thin premium models. We usually see these for batteries, keyboards and screens after a few years of daily office use.

Common models: ExpertBook B1 (B1403 / B1503), ExpertBook P5 (P5405), ExpertBook B9 OLED, plus ExpertBook Ultra, P and Essential models.

Zenbook

Premium thin-and-light laptops for home and work. Many have OLED screens and thin designs, so screen and hinge damage after a drop is a common reason they come in.

Common models: Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405), Zenbook A16 (UX3607), Zenbook S 16 (UM5606), Zenbook Duo (UX8407), plus older Zenbook Flip and Zenbook Pro models.

Vivobook

ASUS’s everyday laptops for students and families. Battery wear and keyboard faults are common on older units, and Flip models can develop hinge problems.

Common models: Vivobook 14/15/16, Vivobook S16 (M3607), Vivobook Go 15, Vivobook Flip and Vivobook Pro.

ProArt

Laptops for designers, video editors and other creative work. They run heavy software, so cooling and fans need attention over time.

Common models: ProArt laptops, including older ProArt models.

ROG (Republic of Gamers)

ASUS’s main gaming range. Hours of gaming mean dust in the fans, dried thermal paste and battery wear. The ROG Flow 2-in-1 models also have hinges and touch screens to look after.

Common models: ROG Strix G16, ROG Strix G18 and ROG Strix SCAR 18 (2026), plus ROG Zephyrus and ROG Flow models.

TUF Gaming

Budget gaming laptops, often bought by students. Fan noise, overheating and worn keyboards are the usual problems after a couple of years.

Common models: TUF Gaming A-series and F-series models.

ASUS Chromebook and older ASUS laptops

Budget and school laptops, including older X-series ASUS and VivoBook models. We can tell you honestly if a repair is worth it on an older unit.

Common models: ASUS Chromebook models and older X-series laptops.

Company ASUS laptops

ExpertBook laptops are often part of a company fleet. Before you hand one in, check these with your IT team:

  • BitLocker recovery key. Many company Windows laptops are encrypted. After a board or storage repair the laptop may ask for the key, so make sure IT can find it.
  • BIOS or supervisor password. If the laptop has one, we need IT to provide it or remove it. We don’t bypass these locks.
  • Warranty first. Business models are often bought with longer cover, such as a next-business-day onsite warranty. Check that before you pay for a repair.
  • Backups. Make sure work files are synced or backed up before the laptop leaves the office.

Fixing several ASUS laptops at once? See business laptop repair. We can also look after your devices as part of managed IT services, or help you buy and set up replacements through IT procurement.

Still under manufacturer warranty?

Check with ASUS first. If a fault is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, that is usually the cheapest fix. Opening the laptop or using an independent repairer may affect your warranty, so ask before you book a repair with anyone. If your laptop is out of warranty, or the damage isn’t covered, we’re happy to help.

Questions people ask

Can you repair my Zenbook screen?

Usually, yes. OLED and touch screens need the right replacement panel, so send us the model code first. Prices depend on the model and part. Send us the model on WhatsApp for a quote.

Will I lose my data?

Screen, battery, keyboard and fan repairs don’t normally touch your storage. Board and liquid damage repairs carry more risk. Back up before you bring it in if the laptop still works. A 3-2-1 backup is a good habit.

How do I find my ASUS model?

Look at the label under the laptop for the model name and code, such as UX3405. In Windows, you can also check Settings > System > About or the System Information app.
