Razer refreshes the Blade every year, so the model year matters as much as the size. Include it when you message us.

Razer Blade 14, 16 and 18

Razer’s current gaming laptops. They pack a lot of power into a slim body, so cooling is tight. Dust, dried thermal paste and battery wear are the faults we see most.

Common models: Razer Blade 14 (2025), Razer Blade 16 (2026) and Razer Blade 18.

Older Razer Blade models

Earlier Blades are still in daily use. With age, batteries, fans and screens are the usual repairs. Parts for older models can take longer to find, so we check before we quote.

Common models: Older Blade 15, Blade 17, Blade Pro and Blade Stealth laptops.

Razer Book

Razer’s older productivity laptop. Battery wear and screen damage are the usual faults.

Gaming laptop care

Gaming laptops run hot and work hard. A little care keeps a Razer Blade fast for longer:

Dust. Fans pull in dust, which slows airflow. A clean-out can bring temperatures and fan noise down.
Thermal paste. The paste between the chips and the heatsink dries out over the years. Fresh paste helps the cooling do its job.
Battery swelling. Heat speeds up battery wear. If the trackpad stops clicking or the base starts to lift, stop charging and read about a swollen battery.
Power. Use the charger that came with the laptop. A weaker charger can cause slowdowns or no charging under load.

Still under manufacturer warranty?

Check with Razer first if your Blade is still under warranty. Razer’s gaming laptops page says every Razer Blade comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty and a 2-year limited battery warranty. An independent repair may affect that warranty. If your cover has ended, or the damage isn’t covered, we’re happy to help.

Can you repair my Razer Blade screen?

Usually, yes, if a replacement panel is available for your exact model. Screens vary by size, resolution and touch support, so we check the part first. Prices depend on the model and part. Send us the model on WhatsApp for a quote.

Will I lose my data?

Screen, battery, keyboard and fan repairs don’t normally touch your files. Board repairs and liquid damage carry more risk. If the laptop still turns on, back up first. See 3-2-1 backup for a simple way to do it.

How do I find my model?

Look at the label under the laptop for the model and model year. In Windows you can also open Settings > System > About. Send us a photo of the label on WhatsApp.
